James Edward Cochrane sold a one-bedroom, one-bath condo at 635 W. 42nd St. in Clinton to Cristian Acosta for $740,000 on May 13.

Cochrane paid $831,900 for Unit #22B in April 2007. The Atelier is a 46-story residential tower on Manhattan’s West Side. It was completed in 2005 with 478 units.

Cochrane is manager of entertainment, media and communications industry audit practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers in New York.
Prior to joining the firm in Nov. 2004, he was an assurance senior associate at Ernst & Young. He also worked as an audit senior at Grant Thornton.

He is a graduate of the University of Brighton in England.

There were 186 condo sales in Clinton/Hell"s Kitchen in 2008, with a median price of $877,500.
