Unit PH-A is one of 83 units in the Manhattan Tower Condo, which was built in 1928.

Mr. Van Brugge has served as global director of research at Sanford C. Bernstein and Co., Inc., a New York-based investment management firm.

Marshak has worked for Credit Suisse as a director for convertible bond trading in Manhattan.

There were 516 condo sales on the Upper West Side in 2008, with a median sales price of $600,000.
