Lingerie designer buys from Ruby Tuesday's CEO on East 62nd

Josie C. Natori and Kenneth C. Natori bought a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 43 E. 62nd St. in Lenox Hill from Samuel Beall and Kreis Beall for $2.25 million on July 30.

The Baalls acquired the property for $2.55 million in March 2007.

The 1,900-square-foot Unit #4B is in one of 22 units on nine floors in the building, which dates back to 1915.

Ms. Natori is a fashion designer and the head of The Natori Co., which offers lingerie, sleepwear, loungewear and underwear Prior to establishing her own company, she served as vice president of investment banking at Merrill Lynch. She also managed a McDonald's franchise and a furniture shop.

She attended Manhattanville College. She was born in in the Philippines.

Mr. Beall is the CEO of the nationwide restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday, and has held the position since 1995. He's also been the president of the company since 2004. He's also a director of the Windstream Corp., a provider of high-speed Internet, phone and digital television services.

There were 212 condo sales on the Upper East Side in 2008, with a median price of $999,000.
