The Ostads paid $1,883,762 for the property in Jan. 2003. The 1,759-square-foot Unit #15A is one of 64 units in the 20-story building at 351 E. 51st St., which is also known as the Beekman Regent. It was constructed in 1893 and converted to condominiums in 2002.

Dr. Ostad practices urology at Advanced Urology Association in Jackson Heights and is affiliated with Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, New York Methodist Hospital and Forest Hills Hospital.

He received his M.D. from State University of New York Downstate College of Medicine and completed his residency at Maimonides Medical Center.
