Financial firm SVP spends $1.85M for TriBeCa condo

Kimberly Corrigan Delancey bought the one-bedroom, two-bath Unit #3 at 56 Thomas St. in Tribeca from Christopher J. Amery for $1.85 million on April 19.

Delancey paid $1.9 million for the property in July 2005.

Ms. Delancey has been a senior vice president at D. E. Shaw & Co., a financial services firm.

She previously was managing director at The Taylor Cos. Prior to that, she held executive positions such as vice president at The Carlyle Group and Merrill Lynch, and director at Travelers. She also worked as an analyst at Salomon Smith Barney.

She received an M.B.A. in finance from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a B.A. in international relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

There are six units in the six-story building at 56 Thomas St.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 114 condo sales in Tribeca during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.7625 million.
