Samuel L. Schwerin and Sara E. Schwerin bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath condo at 66 Leonard St. in Tribeca from Peter L. Klausner and Morley Klausner for $3.4 million on June 1.
The 2,813-square-foot Unit #6B is in the Textile Building, which was built in 1901 and converted to a condominium in 1999, and has 47 units on 14 floors.
Mr. Schwerin is co-founder and managing partner at Millennium Technology, a New York City-based private equity fund.
He has worked for The Blackstone Group, Salomon Bros., StorageApps Inc. and OpenPeak Inc.
He received his B.S. from Lehigh University and his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 125 condo sales in Tribeca during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.775 million.
