Jonathan Schrag and Kirstin H. Schrag bought a condo at 139 Chambers St. in Tribeca from Thomas Merrill and Mary B. Forshaw for $2.2 million on June 11.

Unit #4 is in a cooperative apartment building with 10 units on 10 floors.

Mr. Schrag is executive director of Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative Inc., which he joined in 2008.

He previously was a partner of Hudson Strategic Energy Advisors LLC. From 2005 to 2007, he was assistant director of the Earth Institute at Columbia University and executive director of the Lenfest Center for Sustainable Energy.

He received his B.A. and M.A. degrees from Harvard University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 125 condo sales in Tribeca during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $1.775 million.
